Across the globe, the month of December and Goa have become synonymous with beach and party lovers. Started in 2007 in Goa, the Sunburn Festival is an annual electrifying dance and music festival being held again (the venue was shifted to Pune for last few years) at the sandy beaches of Vagator in north Goa. Rated among the top 10 festivals of the world by CNN in 2009, now it is considered as one of the largest music, dance, food, and shopping festival in the world.

This year the dates for the festival are from 27th to 29th December, 2020. Since it is a privately organized festival so there is also an entry fee for the visitors. Visitors can enjoy panoramic beauty of Goa, water sports at Bagha Calengute, and Vagator beaches, shop at various flea markets of Goa along with enjoying sumptuous Goan cuisines.

Goa has much to offer apart from this festival. To know more about Goa, how to reach, where to stay, visit my earlier post by clicking here.

PS. Please check for the dates before you go as per some unconfirmed news, the festival has been cancelled this year because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
